Let’s Give You a Quick Sneak Peek into the Life of an Area Sales Manager:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, meeting targets, and managing the sales team in the Quetta area. You will develop close relationships with all major accounts to grow business organically and identify new opportunities. You will be an expert in understanding our products, market area, trends, opportunities, and competitive activity. You will play an important role in executing the corporate strategy and nurturing the market through distribution and visibility.

Things You Will Be Doing as Area Sales Manager:

  • Plan to ensure the achievement of divisional and personal targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
  • Formulate strategies and action plans to maximize sales.
  • Set sales targets for DSFs and TSMs and establish, maintain, and expand your customer base in line with agreed targets.
  • Ensure implementation of the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Achieve monthly volume targets and ensure the productivity of daily planned shop visits.
  • Ensure range availability of Shan Foods in the market.
  • Expand coverage as per the aligned fiscal objective and provide guidance to TSMs/DSFs on daily, monthly, and quarterly work plans in accordance with formulated strategies.
  • Track the performance of all KPIs.
  • Manage, develop, coach, and motivate the sales force to develop their skills to ensure a high professional standard and that monthly sales targets and KPIs are met.
  • Conduct regular sales and business reviews to evaluate TSM, Distributor, and DSF performance.
  • Service the needs of your existing customers and ensure no issues are left unresolved for more than a week.
  • Fully own the geographical distribution of markets.
  • Collect customer feedback and conduct market research.
  • Ensure daily discipline by adhering to the Code of Business and Ethics in letter and spirit.

What Are We Looking for in You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of FMCG sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical skills with a proactive initiative and drive.
  • High level of integrity.
