Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager with expertise in accounts and taxation to join our team at our Head Office in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in bank transactions, export documentation, duty drawback claims, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deposit customer cheques into bank accounts promptly and issue receipts in a timely manner.
• Handle pay order/direct cash deposits from scrap vendors, including issuance of receipts.
• File and monitor Duty Drawback (DDB) claims, ensuring compliance with DDB guidelines for all exports.
• Assist in preparing and filing monthly sales tax returns, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Manage and prepare all export documentation and facilitate export-related schemes as required.
• Conduct liaison visits to regulatory authorities as necessary for assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot any receivable-related issues to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:

• Education: ACCA/CMA/MBA Finance or equivalent from an HEC recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in relevant areas such as bank transactions, export documentation, duty drawback claims, and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing, textile, electrical, or electronic appliances industry preferred.
• Age: Maximum age up to 35 years.
