Position Overview

As a Branch Manager at MCB, you will be at the forefront of our retail banking operations, responsible for steering the branch towards achieving its multi-dimensional targets. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team, drive sales, uphold service excellence, and ensure operational efficiency across all facets of branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Planning and Implementation: Formulate and execute sales plans aimed at deepening existing relationships and identifying new opportunities for business growth. Drive initiatives to meet branch targets in deposits, advances, and profitability.
• Team Leadership and Development: Motivate and train front-end staff to enhance their technical and core competencies. Provide leadership and guidance to align team efforts with sales objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Credit Evaluation and Asset Supervision: Evaluate credit proposals and oversee all asset-related matters to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Service Management and Customer Retention: Ensure adherence to the Service Management Program by continuously reviewing and improving processes, practices, and resources. Resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain high service standards and foster long-term relationships.
• Financial Performance and Revenue Maximization: Drive financial performance by meeting branch targets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue generation through effective sales strategies and revenue optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of branch banking experience, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement. Current employment as a Branch Manager is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in IT skills is desirable. Candidates with a diploma from the Institute of Bankers of Pakistan (JAIBP) will be given preference.
