Position: Deputy Manager Procurement

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Experience:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the energy or industrial sector.
  • Experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP Ariba is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management:
   • Expedite the procurement of critical materials to ensure timely project execution.
   • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
   • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier selection to contract management.
2. Vendor Management:
   • Establish and maintain strong relationships with top vendors and suppliers.
   • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best deals.
   • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
3. Strategic Sourcing:
   • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to expand the vendor base.
   • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and pricing.
   • Implement best practices in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
   • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
   • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and efficient procurement processes.
   • Provide support and guidance to junior procurement staff.
5. System and Process Improvement:
   • Utilize SAP MM and SAP Ariba to manage procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
   • Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement systems and workflows.
   • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
