Qualifications

• Education: Graduation (preferably Master’s) with a major in Banking/Accounting/Finance from a HEC-recognized institute.
• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in a relevant field, with comprehensive knowledge of trade operations and regulatory frameworks.

Main Responsibilities

As the Head of Trade Services (Operations), your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all trade operations, including export, import, and guarantees, to ensure efficiency and accuracy in transactions.
• Implementing strict controls to prevent trade-based money laundering (TBML) and ensuring compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
• Facilitating smooth SWIFT correspondence related to trade operations for seamless transactions.
• Managing all audits of trade operations, including internal, external, SBP, and trade Shariah-related audits.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance the bank’s trade portfolio and foster a cohesive work environment.

Core Competencies

• Expertise in trade operations with comprehensive command over regulatory frameworks including SBP foreign exchange manual, UCP 600, URR 522, URDG 758, ISBP 745, and other relevant regulations.
• Exceptional coordination and communication skills to facilitate seamless interactions internally and externally.
• Familiarity with Islamic trade-related products and procedures for comprehensive service offerings.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player to achieve organizational goals effectively.
