Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Accounting/Business or a relevant field from a HEC-recognized and/or international institution. Possession of professional qualifications/certifications such as ACCA, CA, CIA, CICA, etc., would be an advantage.

Required Experience:

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong understanding of internal audit, risk management, and trade operations.

Main Responsibilities:

As the Manager – Business Risk Review, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting risk-based audits and reviews of Business, Risk Management, and Trade Operations.
  • Identifying and evaluating risks associated with unit processes and updating audit programs to ensure desired audit assurance levels.
  • Managing the audit plan and supervising various audit activities, ensuring assignments are completed within approved timelines.
  • Demonstrating expert skills in auditing techniques, accounting, and management principles.
  • Identifying weaknesses and inefficiencies in different functional areas and recommending improvements.
  • Conducting detailed reviews of working papers and drafting internal audit reports, while also reviewing and auditing work performed by staff for accuracy and completeness.

  • Islamic banking knowledge with exposure to Risk Management and Trade Operations.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adequate knowledge of audit practices and standards.
