Job Role: Officer – Yarn Procurement

Location: Raiwind, Lahore

Job Responsibilities

As an Officer in Yarn Procurement at Sapphire, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes. Your responsibilities include:

• Comparative Analysis: Conducting comparative analysis of quotes based on set parameters, facilitating further review and approval processes.
• Supplier Engagement: Engaging with suppliers to track deliveries and collaborating closely with the accounts team to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Purchase Requisition Management: Reviewing and clarifying purchase requisitions from plants, coordinating with ERP systems for item code opening, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Order Finalization: Finalizing order quantities and liaising with transporters to ensure the timely delivery of yarn materials.

Job Specifications

• Education: BE Textile with Specialization in Spinning or Yarn Manufacturing.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the textile industry.
• Skills: Sound knowledge of yarn and fibers, proficiency in ERP systems, and intermediate Excel skills.
