Position Overview: Procurement Manager

As the Procurement Manager at Ismail Industries Limited, you will play a key role in managing our procurement processes and driving strategic initiatives to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Procurement Management: Overseeing all aspects of procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Research and Development (R&D): Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify market trends, evaluate supplier capabilities, and drive innovation in product development and sourcing strategies.
  • Planning and Forecasting: Developing and implementing procurement plans and strategies aligned with business objectives, while effectively managing inventory levels and lead times.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing practices throughout the procurement process.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams, to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for the role of Procurement Manager, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Qualification: Preferably a Master’s degree from an HEC recognized university, with a focus on supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, R&D, and planning, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Location: The position is based in Karachi, Pakistan.
