Position: Production Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities & Skills:

As a Production Merchandiser at Beechtree, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

• Product Costing: Proficiency in product costing methodologies to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
• Product Development & Sampling: Ability to oversee the product development process from conception to sampling, ensuring quality and adherence to brand standards.
• Retail Accessories Knowledge: Familiarity with retail accessories and established contacts with vendors in the local market to source the best products.
• Interpersonal & Follow-Up Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with vendors and follow up on orders and deliveries.
• Sourcing and Negotiation: Engage in sourcing and negotiation activities with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality products at competitive prices.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Graduation degree required.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in the retail sector, preferably in merchandising roles.
• Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
