Position Details:

• Department: Information Security
• Position Title: System Security Engineer
• Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Security certifications such as CompTIA+ will be preferred.
  • Good experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
• Experience:
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

As a System Security Engineer at Soneri Bank, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, executing, and monitoring security measures to protect information, network infrastructure, and computer systems.
• Designing server and endpoint security strategies and engineering comprehensive cybersecurity architectures.
• Identifying, defining, and documenting system security requirements and recommending solutions to management.
• Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining security infrastructure.
• Installing software to monitor systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
• Monitoring systems for irregular behavior and implementing preventive measures.
• Preparing detailed reports, including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
