Position: Territory Sales Officer (Contractual)
Location: Kashmore, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar, Khairpur and Mirpurkhas
Qualification: BBA/BSc degree or its equivalent
Experience: 1 to 3 years

Overall Responsibilities:

• Ensure operations and compliance as per Engro Fertilizers HSE policies, procedures and ethical standards.

• Develop and onboard farmers/businesses onto Engro’s online applications as per targets assigned.

• Drive sales through the online Engro application for its products and services in alignment with the assigned territory/area sales plans.

• Monitor and manage controllable expenses for the assigned territory.

• Support the Regional Sales Manager in developing sales strategies for the region.

• Forecast sales demand from warehouses and collaborate with the local distribution team for inventory planning.

• Ensure farmer conversion and retention targets set for the application are met.

The Territory Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships with clients within a designated geographic area. This role involves developing sales strategies, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Conduct regular client visits to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
  3. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts and performance analysis.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities.
  4. Product Knowledge and Training:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products and services.
    • Provide product demonstrations and training to clients as needed.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Manage sales documentation, including contracts, invoices, and customer records.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
